Terms of
Service

By utilizing OrthoSWIFT®, you are entering into a Professional Services Agreement. This agreement governs the technical processing of Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) data.

1. Technical Scope & Specifications

OrthoSWIFT® is a specialized photogrammetry engine supporting both RGB and Multispectral imagery. We utilize Structure-from-Motion (SfM) algorithms optimized for standard color-band UAS sensors and multispectral sensors with red, green, blue, NIR, and red-edge bands.

1.1 Supported Imagery Types

RGB: Standard color-band imagery from consumer and professional UAS. Multispectral: 5+ band sensors (Red, Green, Blue, NIR, Red-Edge). Specialized LiDAR or Satellite data is currently unsupported.

1.2 Telemetry Requirements

All datasets must contain valid GPS metadata (Latitude, Longitude, Altitude) within the EXIF headers. Datasets lacking coordinate telemetry will be rejected by the pre-processing validation layer.

2. Multispectral Processing & Spectral Indices

For multispectral imagery, OrthoSWIFT® generates additional specialized outputs including NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) and NDRE (Normalized Difference Red-Edge Index) calculations.

2.1 Spectral Indices Output

NDVI and NDRE are calculated from band orthomosaics with Float32 precision. Visual representations (8-bit RGB) and a farmer-friendly PDF summary are included in all multispectral deliverables.

2.2 Band Requirements

NDVI requires Red and NIR bands. NDRE requires Red, NIR, and Red-Edge bands. Datasets lacking required bands will have indices omitted from the final deliverable package.

3. Validation Protocols & Refund Policy

To maintain system integrity, OrthoSWIFT® employs an automated Integrity Validation Layer. We reserve the right to refuse datasets that are mathematically insufficient for survey-grade reconstruction.

3.1 Automated Refusal Criteria

  • / Image overlap below 40%
  • / Corrupt or missing GPS metadata
  • / Volume below 5 images
  • / Resolution below 2MP per image

3.2 Success Guarantee

If a dataset is rejected during the validation phase, the transaction is voided. Users may opt for an Instant Transaction Void or a Technical Re-upload Credit. We do not levy fees for unsuccessful geometric reconstructions.

4. Data Retention & Systematic Erasure

OrthoSWIFT® is designed with a Zero-Persistence Architecture.

  • 4.1 SOURCE DATARaw source imagery is purged from our compute clusters immediately upon the finalization of the processing pipeline.
  • 4.2 FINAL ARTIFACTSProcessed outputs (Orthomosaics, Point Clouds, Spectral Indices, etc.) are hosted for a window of 48 hours to facilitate download. Following this window, all artifacts are permanently erased.

5. Regulatory Compliance & Indemnification

OrthoSWIFT® is a data processing utility and does not provide regulatory oversight. By utilizing this service, you agree to indemnify OrthoSWIFT® and its parent entity, Ortis Holdings (Pty) Ltd, from all liabilities arising from:

  • Unauthorised flight in restricted airspace.
  • Violations of privacy or data protection laws.
  • Operation of UAS without valid certification (e.g., SACAA ROC/RePL, FAA Part 107).

6. Limitation of Liability

OrthoSWIFT® is provided "As Is." While we utilize high-fidelity algorithms, we are not liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from professional decisions made using our outputs. Users are responsible for validating all data with Ground Control Points (GCP) where sub-centimeter precision is required for mission-critical engineering.

7. Fee Structure

OrthoSWIFT® utilizes a Utility-Based Billing Model:

  • Rate: $0.002 USD per Megapixel (MP).
  • Minimum Threshold: A $5.00 USD minimum session fee applies to all processing tasks.
  • Rate Lock: Costs are calculated and locked at the moment of session initiation.
